DEMATEL DIGRAPH: A DECISION MAKING TOOL FOR PROJECT PRACTITIONERS AND RESEARCHERS DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

| Posted by | Categories: Education

DEMATEL DIGRAPH is a new invention that generates directed graph (Digraph) based on DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial Evaluation Laboratory) algorithm. It collects inputs from decision makers and experts through questionnaire (available in online), avoiding human contact during COVID-19 pandemic. It calculates results instantaneously and is currently the first and only cloud based system design using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and html by Bootstrap. As this invention combines DEMATEL algorithm and Digraphs (Directed graphs), it generates and maps the relationships between critical factors with directed graph, in PDF Format. It is the first software to generate directed graph (digraph), and perform consistency and reliability analysis such as corrected item-total correlation analysis and Cronbach’s alpha reliability test on the collected data. The generated graph separates the critical factors into causal and effect domains, enabling both project practitioners and researchers (students) to identify critical factors, critical risks and critical criteria effectively, consistently and efficiently. It encapsulates experiential learning, both in theory and practice, and is the state of the art in decision science and project risk management. It highly benefits both corporate project decision makers and research students during COVID-19 pandemic.
