The initiative aims to regulate the women’s entrance process to Al Rawdah Al-Sharifah and reduce the severe overcrowding occurs which resulting in fuss that hinders the rituals performance. The initiative idea is to sit an Electronic Gates with a fingerprint to allow entry once a day for a specified number of women performers (every 10 minutes). The expected numbers have been calculated based on Al Rawdah’s square footage, the space needed to pray (one prayer per day for each visitor) and the paths to exit are organized smoothly. This will grant Al Rawdah’s visitors the reverence needed to pray and perform the rituals in commensurate with the sacredness and holiness of the place. Also, these electronic gates will be topped with wood in the same style and inscriptions of Al Masjid Al Nabawi’s doors to preserve the architectural heritage and style without any distortion.
