Due to COVID19, we are required to go through temperature screening, sanitizes hands and records our contact via a smartphone app or logbook before permitted to enter a place. These processes are time-consuming and result in a long queue. Hence, we intend to introduce a Modular and Open System (MOST) device to expedite these processes. MOST is built using aluminium pipes and equipped with a Karakuri liquid sanitizer dispenser mechanism activated via the foot. It also installed with a camera, infrared thermometer, touchscreen, barcode reader and tower light. They are used to perform contactless temperature measurement, record information, display a user temperature and health condition. Furthermore, MOST also equipped with Face Detection and Recognition function. MOST already used in several places and proven can expedite the processes. A user only needs to stand in front of it, flash the code and later, the health status is displayed. Alongside, the user contact, date, time and temperature are recorded. Currently, MOST is upgrading with the Internet of Thing (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence elements with Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) collaboration. It is hoped that MOST can be commercialized widely and recognized as a national product on par with foreign products.
